If Arsenal keep benching Hincapie until the end of the season, I will gladly knock on their door to sign him. I don't think Colwill is best at LCB, he should be the CCB ahead of Lacroix who can be a RCB.

So, need a proper LCB to balance that defence. Ahanor and Hato still need to learn a lot and develop.

Hincapie-Colwill-Lacroix will make a solid base.

I want Chelsea to weaken Arsenal even more. There are players in that squad who are not happy with their playing time.

Zubimendi is 27 and in his prime years. He wants to play, not sit on the bench. Eze could also be available, although he can join Tottenham.

Then there’s Mosquera and Saliba. Chelsea should take one of them, with Saliba being my preferred option.

There’s also Solomon, the young defender. Chelsea could give him regular first-team football.

Estevao's Brazil call-up is useful for Chelsea. Three friendlies give him a chance to build proper match rhythm after such limited club minutes. If Brazil use him regularly, Alonso should get a clearer picture of where he is physically.

Hearing that Cole Palmer pulled out of England national team due to a minor Injury is a good thing, as long as it's not severe.

He will have time to rest, reflect and work 3 times as hard. He needs all the time this season to come back to his usual self.

Arbeloa is showing promising adaptations. Using a back 3 in build-up with Castagne deep, has given his team more stability vs Liverpool & Man Utd. He is also developing good connections in possession between Charles and the 3 attackers behind Garcia with Iwobi, King & Bobb all looking dangerous. He should be able to steer them to safety after his dodgy start to the season.

Palmer is definitely not injured. He simply doesn't want to play unnecessary friendly matches for Thomas Tuchel.

At the end of the day, when the actual tournament starts, whether it's the World Cup or the Euros, Tuchel is going to select the players he trusts.

So right now, let the players who haven't played much for England, or barely get opportunities with the national team, go and represent their country. They'll be more excited and hungry for those minutes anyway.

Players like Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo should just return to their clubs and get enough rest.

The season is already demanding enough.

When competitive football resumes, they should be coming back fresh, fit and ready to go.
