Arbeloa is showing promising adaptations. Using a back 3 in build-up with Castagne deep, has given his team more stability vs Liverpool & Man Utd. He is also developing good connections in possession between Charles and the 3 attackers behind Garcia with Iwobi, King & Bobb all looking dangerous. He should be able to steer them to safety after his dodgy start to the season.

Palmer is definitely not injured. He simply doesn't want to play unnecessary friendly matches for Thomas Tuchel.

At the end of the day, when the actual tournament starts, whether it's the World Cup or the Euros, Tuchel is going to select the players he trusts.

So right now, let the players who haven't played much for England, or barely get opportunities with the national team, go and represent their country. They'll be more excited and hungry for those minutes anyway.

Players like Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo should just return to their clubs and get enough rest.

The season is already demanding enough.

When competitive football resumes, they should be coming back fresh, fit and ready to go.

My Opinion:

Unless Reece James start playing as a RB again, he won't be a key player in this team playing as a midfielder.

His talent is been wasted as a Midfielder, he needs to maximize his full strength.

For me, his better he is not playing than playing as a Midfielder, he is of no use there.

There is no point staying fit and your impact is not felt in the team, the only way he can be THA REECE JAMES again, is playing from the RW/RWB.
