@DavidDeutschOxf@PaulRRobichaud This is rather trivial: he just says there is always a wavefunction of the universe, and looking at a local subsystem must always be a partial trace of that. It rejects the problem of lacking info for merging two local density matrices into a global state as you always know it.
@lemire The point is any of those measures is a human/AI distinguisher. Whatever it measures, the AI objectively outperforms most humans. Don't philosophize about the deep meaning of the measure, just define one to roughly estimate what you care about and find yourself outperformed.
🧵(1/8) An @OpenAI internal reasoning LLM achieved an AI Math milestone: solving an open problem central to its mathematical subfield— in this case, the unit distance problem of discrete geometry.
We came across it in a side quest to truly push our model on the hardest problems.
@JimJones1913 You are re-inventin 2-of-2 multisig. Use two HWW devices, one metal plate backup for each. Software readily is available for everything else.
@Giovann35084111 But why was cosmic evolution so slow then to only produce us in all that billion years of time and volume of space? Even if we are first, the late timing requires explanation as well given your other estimates.
So Mythos was, indeed, not marketing hype.
Remember this is a general purpose model that just happens to be good at finding exploits because good models are good at lots of things. Expect similar from OpenAI & Google. And from open models in 8 months. https://t.co/KbhalQYX8R
