This old dude found $30 on the ground at a Walmart and the Albany, Georgia police started a full scale manhunt for him.

Here’s the Facebook post where they’re getting rightfully blasted.

People are offering to just pay the $30 themselves.

In Georgia this is technically a crime under Code § 16-8-6, keeping lost or mislaid property without making reasonable efforts to return it counts as theft.

But this is an absolute waste of real police time… right?
