Prediction: the most successful blockchain companies of 2019 will be powered by security tokens and/or a core focus on user experience. For mainstream adoption, we need real value and much better interfaces.
This NASDAQ opinion boils down to something like "cryptocurrency can become the infrastructure for global finance if successfully regulated". A self-interested but probably correct line of thinking
@SolomonAdekale@unignorant How many people know who Nikola Tesla is? Or knew who he was before Elon Musk created Tesla? Probably more people associated it with "Tesla troopers" from Red Alert. This sort of thing really doesn't matter. Ideally you have a good basis, but names take on their own life
@Cointelegraph DEX volume is 1% of the volume on centralized exchanges. Good decentralized UX may be harder to create, but it is not impossible. Why is there no DEX with the user experience of @coinbase?
I wonder how the IRS would react to reported short/long term capital losses in cryptocurrency that totally wipe out substantial gains in stocks and bonds. Despite the fact that this is the right/legal thing to do, seems a recipe for an audit
The reason we don't have ETNs (or ETFs for that matter) is regulator's fear of manipulation of a market they don't control. That is a justified fear, so not sure how we move forward here
$NEX was a great name, but #Nash will better grow with the long term vision of the company. Like Tesla, the name has meaning and deep roots. John Nash was a famous mathematician and game theoretician that won a Nobel prize in economics.
