First of all, these two units were $200 different in price. The nightmare with the mirror was by the 10 and the 405, and the charming place with the 🥑 tree out front was 12 blocks from the beach in Santa Monica.

The most baffling thing to me is that more places are lacking refrigerators these days. I was told by a landlord "You can get them for $200 online." 😲 😲 It's one of the most renter hostile things we're seeing increase over time. #renternightmares

Fun #❤️block tip: we see a correlation between the condition of the kitchen and bathroom with the quality over time of the building management. Don't overlook scary bathrooms and kitchens!

The kitchen is nothing to write home to mom about, but it's respectable.

This cozy place east of Lincoln in Santa Monica is $2,250. (Can you tell I'm obsessed with the avocado tree right outside the unit?)
