Y’all, happy Sunday! I have been amazed by the support of the #web3 industry this past few weeks.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being there. It really is the difference between feeling alone and having friends who have your back during a job search.
From wellness checks to job links, I am truly lucky to have so many folks in my orbit.

Good morning everyone!! Spent some writing a POC on @solana over the weekend so I can add some more depth to my background.
Essentially this is a small POC that leverages Program Derived Addresses to handle ephemeral blockchain access and role hierarchy.
Here’s the code: https://t.co/E8yENYuZXl

I kind of fell in love with @solana over the past week. Honestly, if you compare @solana to @ethereum in an honest way, it’s so much easier for native web2 devs to use rust than it is Solidity.
Just an opinion.
The biggest bottleneck for institutional adoption isn’t TPS. $hbar $sol and many others already have that.
If your SI (WWT, Accenture, Deloitte, etc) can’t deploy a solution in 30 days, it’s dead for a Fortune 500. We need DLT infrastructure that fits into enterprise stacks.
@solana and @SolanaFndn: where in the Hell are your enterprise employees?
You guys have the coolest shit ever in Token Extensions but y’all are playing in defi only.
I haven’t seen the word Firedancer in weeks.

What is it called when you read the docs and you’re like “Holy Shit I’ve been missing out!” ?
I’m feeling that about @solana architecture. So much better than others. The whole rent thing and $sol lockup is incredible engineering.
Wow.
Today I read about how solana passes around recent hashes of its blockchain history.
You can have two different types of Addresses…
ED25519 and Curve 2259 with the latter being for Program Derived Accounts (no private key ).
Y’all on the first day of de-noobing on sexy @solana, I bought some @americacoinsol (lol) and learned that on Solana, everything is an account.
I also learned that clusters are giant heaps of data. You can always have read only, but altering requires permissions (duh here).
Accounts store three things:
Data
Executable programs
Native programs

Folks, this weekend we will be diving into the SVM on @solana. I haven’t seen a lot of depth around tech in the ecosystem, so why not? They already have an express lane for folks coming in from $ETH haha.
