@OpenAI awesome work improving the models and LOVIG 01. May be take some time to improve other areas of the product, like: a way to organize all the conversations rather than having a long chronological list on the left side. Some folders and nesting would be a good start! Thx u!
@Airbnb NOT cool to cancel our rental one week before arrival. We have family traveling internationally and now we have no place to take them. It’s spring break week in Oregon and finding a place nearly impossible now on short notice and all you offer is a “sorry” and $25?! WTF?
Empathy is made up of two parts:
Be able to see situations from another person’s point of view
Being able to accept the situation as viewed by the other person
If you are only seeing it but not accepting it, then chances are that you are being sympathetic rather than empathetic
Technology has helped us evolve from a society based on interactions to a society based on transactions.
This is a good example of when more of a thing doesn't necessarily make it a good thing.
RTO mandates are failing to acknowledge employees as humans with challenges and needs that go beyond a paycheck. They remove the very same flexibility that has allowed employees to increase their productivity which elevated the profits of the companies that they worked at.
Isn’t it strange that in digital content-driven platforms, where the 1-9-89 rule rules, that the platform (i.e. algorithm) seeks to throttle down the 1% that contributes the most?
It would seems that last week I was too much of an eager beaver for the LinkedIn algorithm, may have "over posted", and gotten banished to the dark corners of the LinkedIn feed.
Lesson learned? Yup.
Screw the algorithm!
