@Treekyboi @wayneisboss I was so out of the loop for both as a kid, but seeing the comparison is super weird every time. Even the digimon fans give off airs of superiority. It’s like the console wars, each had their strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately it was down to whichever *felt* right for you.

@Schaffrillas My only reference for this dislike are the replies here, and some of the criticism of CinemaSins appears to apply to many other forms of movie criticism content. I can imagine MST3K had its share of “they ruined the movie goer experience” by making their goofy show too.

@Schaffrillas Honestly I never knew CinemaSins was so hated. I saw one or two videos of theirs, thought it was a funny jab-y premise for a movie “review” show and wasn’t meant to be taken seriously, then moved on. And now people say they “ruined” movies, idk what I’m missing
