@Sharkmare@67erpMemequeen@BadVertexDev On the other hand, building things from scratch teaches you a lot of tools and helps you understand things if it's your first time doing it. Following tutorials can give you that step by step, but with just getting an add-on or a baseline it can be overwhelming.
@BOENSAW@ianhamilton_@hloreakh@Timothy_Mark7 Maybe off topic, but isn't the phrasing of it as "excess difficulty" assuming (or easily misunderstood as there being) a measureable "correct" amount of difficulty? Like, Animal Crossing and Zelda are far apart the scale while neither are really "difficult", right?
@ShitpostRock2 I dunno. I don't think that game design, accessibility, or difficulty are that simple or binary, you know? Why is the assumption that the game is unbalanced at its baseline? Aren't these options here for fun?
