Oh! And they named the little cats after our two current cats! Iris, the only cat to survive the fire, and her sister Penelope 💜💜

My last post was noticed by the wonderful Naomi Romero @anxiety_fox. While we messaged I had shared that we lost two cats in the fire and Naomi sent us these. Words can’t describe how much this means to us! My girls named the big cats after the boys we lost.

We miss our boys so much. I’m late in posting because I’m in my final weeks of school but the comfort they have brought is immense. I can’t thank you enough Naomi! 💜💜💜

My original @anxiety_fox was lost in my house fire last October. I kept talking about replacing it but haven’t gotten around to it. My bestie @StarlightHawke surprised me with this floof today! I am so excited!!

@anxiety_fox @StarlightHawke Oh my gosh! Thank you for the concern! 💜 We were actually very lucky! I got myself, my friend, and my two daughters out. We lost a lot but the only things we can’t replace are our two cats that were trapped inside and ending up passing from smoke 💔
