Among 32 high-income countries with universal health care, Canada is second in spending, but 26th in beds, 28th in MRI units, and CT scanners, and 30th in doctors.
@nathanmhansen Great post! It caused me to unfollow the guy who re-posted you. If he can’t see the bulls#!+ you’re peddling I don’t need to see what else he’s throwing out there.
@RocsTalon@TRHLofficial There was a little sarcasm there. But there’s also nothing I can do to stop them from saying that. But, yes, they shouldn’t do it because it’s a falsehood.
Out of respect for the spirit of revival that is taking place around the world, I humbly ask if everyone on my timeline who believes in the power of prayer would you please stop what you're doing to just take a moment, and post this short prayer. Not all will but I hope some will.
II Chronicles 7:14
Lord we need you ! Please sweep across this nation and heal this land. Restore our strength, renew our minds, and banish everything that is not of You.
In Jesus Christ’s name we pray.
Amen.
Thank you.
I copied and pasted. You can too….
FT reported that return to the pre-invasion borders in this 2023 peace plan was accepted by Putin as basis for Istanbul-like peace deal, but that it was rejected by Zelensky & Biden administration:
"Putin agreed with their proposal on the front line, Warnig said. He said that he could not allow Ukraine to join Nato, but was open to EU membership and a different security arrangement like the one discussed at the Istanbul talks. “If we can agree on the border and on Nato, then we can discuss everything else,” Putin told Warnig.
But Ukraine’s success on the battlefield had changed the equation. Rodnyansky could barely get Zelenskyy and his powerful head of the president’s office Andriy Yermak to look at the documents on his phone. They told him they would make no concession to Putin on Ukraine’s borders and felt they could secure much of the rest of the group’s plan without giving up territory. Rodnyansky, who felt the US needed to pressure Ukraine to accept a deal, said they were acting as if Russia’s army would suddenly disintegrate like Sauron’s at the end of The Lord of the Rings. The Ukrainians, laughing, agreed. The Ukrainian presidential office and Yermak did not respond to a request for comment.
Conn and Foresman had hopes of agreeing an end to the war by its first anniversary on February 24. Instead, the prospects for peace crumbled before their eyes. On February 18, the two Americans met Warnig in the Zurich hotel restaurant where they had first gathered. This time the message was very different. Putin had disclosed the channel’s existence to his foreign policy adviser Ushakov and three other top officials, and discussed the group’s peace proposal with them in detail. Putin had told Ushakov to confirm the Americans’ mandate when he next spoke with Sullivan. According to Putin, Sullivan told Ushakov the US had not approved the channel and thought its existing lines of official communication were sufficient."
The draft of the plan: "The group began to shape their peace proposal. Russia would withdraw from much of the regions Putin had just annexed, setting the border at the territory it controlled in Crimea and parts of the Donbas before the war. Ukraine would recognise Russian control over Crimea and give Russia free passage over a “land bridge” to the peninsula. To ensure the ceasefire held, Ukraine would get protection from Nato states, and Russia would begin discussing a separate agreement on security guarantees with the US."
Abortion is not health care.
Abortion is a devastating loss of life.
A death sentence.
Pronounced by a desperate or dismissive mother.
Carried out by a diabolical physician and industry capitalizing on darkness.
It is not something to be protected and promoted.
I am proud to introduce The Propagandist's Cookbook, a recurring thread series that highlights how propaganda works, how propagandists spread misinformation, and how you can learn to protect yourself from lies and deceit in this modern information environment.

Tonight Abdul El-Sayed stood next to Barack Obama and told Michigan he's about America. Look at his record.
The Brotherhood. I lived in Egypt during the 2011 revolution and watched the Brotherhood fill the streets near my home. That year he urged the U.S. to back the revolution and brushed off fears of a Brotherhood takeover. In 2012, he signed a letter urging the new Brotherhood government to "purge" Egypt's press and police (Free Beacon).
CAIR money. More than 40 people tied to CAIR have given his campaign over $115,000. A CAIR-linked fund put $175,000 into the super PAC backing him. His father-in-law, a CAIR-Michigan board member, gave that same PAC $300,000. He refused to give any of it back.
"Money out of politics." That's on his yard signs. Meanwhile, super PACs are spending for him, and he once served as president of a group with its own dark-money arm.
Oct. 7. On the second anniversary of Hamas's massacre, his fundraising email blamed Israel and never mentioned Hamas. His campaign called it a mistake.
Iran. A Persian student whose family suffered under the IRGC asked him to stand against it. He wouldn't say the word "IRGC." Earlier, leaked audio showed he held back on commenting on Khamenei's death so he wouldn't upset supporters.
Michigan deserves a senator whose first instinct is America. Vote.
This is long for one X post, so I can split it into a five-part thread if you'd like.
A few wording choices you should keep:
•"Dark money." The super PAC backing him discloses its donors, so it isn't technically dark money. I tied the term to the nonprofit he led, where it's accurate.
•CAIR donations. The $115K came from individuals linked to CAIR, not from CAIR itself. No one has said those donations were illegal.
•Oct. 7 and Iran. His campaign says he condemns violence against all innocent people. That's why I wrote "never mentioned Hamas" and "wouldn't say IRGC" instead of "refused to condemn."
He is the Brotherhood. Don’t you dare be fooled by his slick words. He will do everything to put you under Sharia Law!
So, point given. Thanks.
El Sal sent noncombat forces to support the UN. That’s not an invasion.
Since there is no functioning gov in Haiti, there’s no one to get their people back other than their own efforts.
I’m certain they’ll cheerfully send every El Sal SOF dude home on the next flight west if their people were given back.
In the meantime, are you telling me that a criminal gang took those dudes prisoner because they’re repelling an invasion? LOL.
I applied for a warehouse job, a basic forklift/picker role, not management, not corporate.
Did the interview, took the physical assessment, passed it, discussed shift and pay, got a "we'll be in touch."
Never heard back.
A 40-something, fully able-bodied person with actual forklift certification can't get hired for an entry-level warehouse shift.
This is supposedly one of the tightest labor markets in decades, employers constantly saying they "can't find workers."
So which is it? Because I'm standing here, qualified, available, certified, and apparently invisible to every single application I submit.
Millions of people in the exact same position, getting ghosted after interviews that went fine.
Something doesn't add up, and it's not the workers.
