Russia is providing valuable satellite and signals intelligence to Iran that is likely helping it to pinpoint U.S. military forces across the Middle East as well as jam American-made aircraft and munitions used in strikes against Iran, U.S. and European officials with knowledge of the matter have told NBC News.
Saudi Arabia is preparing to put the Houthis in their place
The operation may include airstrikes, naval actions, and a ground offensive.
The reason for the escalation is the threat to shipping in the Red Sea. The Houthis, who control part of Yemen, announced a blockade of Saudi vessels and threatened attacks on oil infrastructure.
Riyadh has begun deploying troops and is creating an international coalition to protect trade routes. At the same time, Saudi Arabia is trying to avoid a direct conflict with Iran, which supports the Houthis.
Due to the threats, some oil tankers have already begun bypassing the Red Sea via Africa, increasing oil delivery times.
Historian Sarah Paine: This is the Russian business model. Say your business is doing well. One of Putin's security-service enforcers comes to your house and says: I want a monthly payment from you.
That's a mafia shakedown, going back in Russian history forever. 1/
“Mykhailo Drapatyi, Ukraine's newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has issued orders to the assault regiments of the Ground Forces to suspend the intake of additional personnel from 26 July…
Quote from source 1: ‘We can no longer take people from the reserve battalions or people who have been newly conscripted’…
The transfer of military personnel from other units [i.e. transfers into assault regiments – UP] has also been suspended…
This is the first decision by Ukraine's senior military command to restrict the assault regiments' ability to replenish their personnel.
Previously, at least two assault regiments – the 425th Skelia and the 225th – were known to UP to have had exclusive rights to a continuous flow of personnel and permission to expand.”

If you cannot accept that what Trump has done over the last year and a half is starve Ukraine of air defense, and put off any new aid for as long as possible, so Putin can terrorize Ukraine from the air for as long as possible--you cannot accept reality.
Russia is now lying that the UN claimed the Wildberries strikes were a "war crime."
Maybe they should stop selling military equipment if they didn't want the stores to get hit.
They're legitimate targets.
🤡 Trump says the US never agreed to hand Ukraine licenses to build Patriot interceptors. He says you have to be careful giving out advanced weapons tech, since the people you give it to could turn on you.
@wartranslated Trump TACO’ed OUT after call with Putin
1. He is Refusing 300 Patriot missiles
2. Now refusing a License for Patriot protection
3. Refusing to send 400 million
4. Not helping get the use of Starlink inside Russia to stop ballistic missiles (ELON)

U.S. intelligence agencies now believe Iran was behind a coordinated cyberattack that hit more than 30 municipal water systems in Minnesota this week, that’s according to several U.S. officials who spoke to The Washington Post.
But Trump isn’t buying it. Instead, he blames Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, saying: “I think that Minnesota is behind it. You know who is behind it? Minnesota. Because they’re grossly incompetent. I think the governor is behind it. I don’t think there was an Iranian cyberattack.”
Sound familiar? It’s basically Helsinki all over again. In 2018, Trump stood next to Vladimir Putin and said he believed Putin’s denial rather than the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. election.
Once a traitor, always a traitor.
Using civilians as a means of political pressure is deeply troubling and should never be accepted.
The recent arrival of thousands of refugees in Spain has sparked intense political debate, with different interpretations of the reasons behind it. Regardless of those disagreements, civilians should never be used as leverage in political disputes.
I support Spain’s right to make its own foreign policy decisions without being subjected to political pressure or intimidation, while respecting international law and humanitarian principles.
Russia's response to electronic warfare wasn't a single solution. It evolved along two major paths: fiber-optic drones and mesh networks. This thread summarizes Frontelligence Insight analysis based on OSINT data and a report by the Center for Defense Reforms. Thread🧵
QUESTION: Did Trump and Rubio plan on encouraging Morocco to use Migrant Warfare against Spain to punish it for not supporting the Iran war?
These borders images look just like the Russian backed MW operations on Finland & Poland's borders.
Trump sys he will run the midterms on these images. In 2019 Netanyahu's son Yair, called for Morocco to seize of Ceuta and Melilla
If the PM Pedro Sanchez Government falls over this event we should seriously investigate if it was a Washington planned Coup D'Etat.
When ideas like this begin to surface, it is a sign of fatigue and of zero progress toward the war’s objectives.
Worse still, it reveals the scarcity of plans prepared in advance that should have anticipated this scenario.
The Pentagon has excellent specialists in this area, but I have the impression that there is excessive politicization always trying to impose itself, and they end up being heard only sporadically, without the continuous construction of thought and operations.
What are the chances that the US and Israel can get all seven neighbors to blockade Iran, including Afghanistan?
WATCH: Terrified Ceuta woman pleads for troops “We’re alone”:
We need the military on the streets. They are not here.
We are alone.
We cannot call the police or the Civil Guard because they are overwhelmed.
We need urgent help. I am surrounded. I am scared.
How could I not be scared? I am shaking. This is an invasion.
It started in Ceuta, but this is Spain’s border, Europe’s border.
Today it was Melilla, tomorrow it will be the Canary Islands, then Tarifa. This is unacceptable.
Moroccan traffic police keeps directing thousands of illegal migrants toward the Spanish border fence in Ceuta.
This is a state-orchestrated invasion of Spain.

Commander of Ukraine’s 3rd Corps Biletsky: Russia claims it came to defend “Russian speakers.” I was one of them.
Early Azov was mostly eastern Ukrainians. Russian-speaking Kharkiv gave Ukraine the largest share of soldiers and volunteers.
