JUST IN: @Citi's new Tokenization 2030 report highlights Chainlink CCIP as the interoperability standard connecting the tokenized global financial system.
Citi projects tokenized asset markets can reach $8.2 trillion by 2030, with secure cross-chain connectivity being critical.
I've had the markets on the backseat for a while as there's much more important things in life...
I've been following and I think the opportunity lies after the Iran peace deal-sell off. Same as positive earnings, a peace deal was priced from the start of the ceasefire.
Let’s hope this deal lasts and brings permanent peace…
With an open strait the energy markets will stabilize but still need time to normalize.
For risk on, this could also be a sell the news event given they already priced in peace.

Stocks spike, oil slides after AI Arabiya says it TV obtaining what it describes as final draft of US-lran agreement:

5) Guaranteed freedom of navigation in the Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Sea of Oman
6) Establishment of a joint monitoring and dispute resolution mechanism
7) Launch of negotiations on outstanding issues within seven days

The agreement is stated to enter into force immediately upon formal announcement by both parties".
Gap down incoming, by the looks of it. Lets see if the gentlemen can get a deal or extension of the ceasefire — but it aint looking too good right now. But with Trump you never know 😂
Now this is good news, start up those engines captain and let's go. Now Trump needs to follow through with a pause of his blockade and (more importantly) a long term deal with Iran & a lasting Lebanon deal.
If(!) they pull this off, there's a bullish period ahead.
In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.
Markets are either pricing in an Iran deal (I hope so) or do a massive short squeeze before the real bad stuff happens…
$SPY $SPX
I rather see some positive news first. 👀
@Pisbank1 Paying oil in Yuan is a nice to have for CH. A must have for them is US/EU consumer markets that buy their stuff. With an energy crisis, consumer spending and margins drie up hitting CH as hard as the rest of the world. They have intrinsic incentive for a deal, I stand by this.

@Pisbank1 Iran isn't fully broke, they have 90 million people economy and are pretty self sufficient. Them not selling oil to China would hurt and loosing ties to CH and RUS would be devastating for their position. The leverage is there, US/GCC also have leverage towards CH, and CH to RUS.
@Pisbank1 I agree with you but there's a whole world that wants a deal: Asia, EU, US. GCC/US block needs to pressure China for a deal, China then pressures Russia. Russia then leverages its position in intel, China economic. Without both Iran is defenseless and broke. US reels in Israel.
@Pisbank1 Landing marines is suicide and will lead to another never ending war. I'm quite sure Trump genuinely wants a deal and Isreal does not. Boots on the ground is the worst possible scenario, all experts agree on this.
Ok this is significant, Trump seems to be ready for a deal, maybe also because of the partial gov shutdown and dems pushback among many other sides internationally.
Flipping the script: “new leader iran” thus regime change.
Ok, now make deal and dont get hijacked by Israel.
Reporter: “what about the Strait of Hormuz, who is going to be in control of that?”
Trump: “uhhh, be jointly controlled …”
Reporter: “by who?”
Trump: “maybe me … me and the Ayatollah”
Solutions are needed:
> China brokered peace deal with Iran through economic pressure from the GCC
> Let Trump broker a world peace pact: Iran, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Adversaries, maybe guidance on Taiwan: Trump Nobel Peace for his ego
> End political private funding US
How’s it possible that an amateur like me sees this coming but top executives with all the intel can’t?
Impeach all of them. There are solutions but only harsh ones… before we really get into an endless downward spiral.
I’m no expert on this whatsoever but it seems that a deal is urgently needed this week to avoid the situation spiraling out of control. Air defenses are heavily weakened and almost depleted which means chaos incoming also for macro.
Only losers in this conflict. End it now.
This “war” has 1 to 1 parallels to covid:
- lie about everything
- 1 more week to topple the regime
- Egypt already in partial energy lockdown
- remember what happened to the market and people’s businesses back in 2020?
- this is worse, with major danger for worldwide security
