Rolled credits on Mina the Hollower. So many moments where the game is a dance of free-flowing movement and dynamic combat, but far too many moments where the game grinds that momentum to a halt using “don’t burrow” as its primary difficulty vector. Pretty good out of 10
Picking back up my Le Guin journey. Very curious how this will compare to The Left Hand of Darkness both in material and in my final opinion. Stepping backwards through Le Guin’s political philosophy journey after finishing Earthsea and moving to her sci-fi is very interesting.
@joeypostings If somebody brought Carl to CBB I would skip at least the segment if not the whole episode. Listening to old CBB episodes I think most are pretty bad because they are much more of the millennial humor I don’t care for, but there’s some wheat so I’ve chosen to sift through chaff.
When listening to the Comedy Bang Bang backlog, one must skip to the next episode whenever a white man brings a Hispanic character to the table. In addition to making the show much funnier and more listenable, it also expedites your journey by reducing the backlog by about 20%.
Coworkers keep pitching me on Dungeon Crawler Carl and I’m trying to be polite about it. If the author wanted me to read his books he shouldn’t have made a SFF book about a guy named Carl who runs around barefoot and in his undies with a cat named Princess Donut. I’m an adult.
