@serpentza To be fair, for maybe the first time ever, Hua Chunying responded in a way befitting of her position with proper condolences in formal Japanese.
@serpentza "still a long way to go to go back to normal life, as you can see from these people living a normal life" - unlike in Shanghai, where normal life may possibly return maybe by who knows when, perhaps, unless there's a new random lockdown to keep life normal.
@serpentza Very good as always, but I noticed you kept calling Ukraine "the Ukraine" - apparently Russians used to call it like that during the Soviet era to make it sound less like a name, as an insult. I heard a Ukrainian ambassador started referring to Russia as "the Russia" recently ;)
The US has gradually alienated the definition of democracy and tried to monopolize the right to define democracy. What China needs to do is to restore the real intention of democracy. Our pursuit of whole-process people's democracy will become a valuable practice for all mankind.
🧵Recently a 20min long video was posted to YouTube (https://t.co/BvRHYHEe5n) from a visitor to Xinjiang surreptitiously filming over a dozen detention facilities, incl. some of the largest and most infamous in Xinjiang. Here I'll help verify a lot of the footage and add context.
I stand with Taiwan, a wonderful country that has had to put up with constant bullying and harassment by a belligerent neighbor who still doesn’t understand that just because you say something is yours, doesn’t mean it is yours.
@serpentza You read Duolingo has been banned now, too? This is obviously meant to further isolate the populace from the outside world by stopping them from learning foreign languages.
@serpentza Also, if you're rich enough to buy that for your colleague, you don't have colleagues because you're not working for anyone. They have a very interesting idea of human relationships. Probably because they've never had any themselves.
@serpentza "An ideal gift for your friend, colleague or business partner from China"
Do they have a Hitler one for my colleague from Israel? He killed fewer Jews than Mao killed Chinese, after all, so it must be a great gift.
@SpokespersonCHN I'm not sure you understand what "democracy" means... Or "liberation" or "improved", for that matter. But what you are saying is that people should blame the Communist Party for the destruction of the old China? I suppose you're right about that, at least.

What does @MercedesBenz officially think about their logo being used like this in a meeting of their sales team? Celebrating the Chinese Communist Party, a ruthless totalitarian regime currently committing genocide, with company material.
