Game was too hot and opposition too poor to draw any major conclusions. Felt more like a training exercise.

Some thoughts on a generally positive first game for Maresca's #mcfc #mancity
In the first half, looked to move the ball forward more quickly. Second half - did well to maintain pressure around Inter's penalty area.

Foden played as a clear number 10, where he thrived especially in the second half.

Lots of positives from young players, McAidoo the standout. Mfuni and Braithwaite also good.

PSG > Chelsea
Liverpool > Gala

Spurs > Atletico
Only Spurs (sacked manager & battling relegation) lost to a poorer side.

Of course media coverage will still decry a crisis for Premier League clubs as that generates more traffic than simply saying all but one tie went with the money.
