things i’ve noticed playing cs2
1. Nuke Haters.
2. People hating the game for not realistic things like cheaters, ok no game doesn’t have cheaters, me personally I haven’t seen but maybe 2? people that could have been.
There are a ton of valid reasons, but stop the cope lmao.
After a week of CS2 practice, my opinion has become more positive and these are my current take-aways:
NEGATIVES.
1. Audio needs to be adjusted still but I do like the settings that are available.
2. Jumping accuracy seems too good, I don't remember getting jumping dinked so often (same could be said for running accuracy)
3. Given that HE's are much stronger in cs2, more damage and breaking smokes. I think this hit audio queue needs to be removed, it provides a lot of information, where HE's are usually used after you have info and the info gathering part is already applied by breaking smokes. This could just be my opinion and others may like this.
POSITIVES.
1. After playing on lower ping (2 - 5) I feel that the game is way more responsive and although the peekers advantage is still annoying, it does happen less due to being able to react properly.
2. The team play is very fun in cs2. Smokes add a new dynamic which utilizes team communication a lot more.
3. Open skybox's seem to fit the game perfectly, the meta is going to be constantly developing and it's going to be very exciting.
4. I'm still unsure about increased shadows in certain areas but over the past week this isn't something I felt was actually bad in anyway, so for now this is a positive for me.
5. The map re-works and small changes made have been really nice to play, especially inferno. Re-works like this allow for so much more player creativity, new perfect flashes and nade lineups.
Over all I enjoy it much more now than I did before. I will say that it's unfortunate how PC demanding the game is and for professionals it is definitely required to have the best PC possible. The game on completely low settings is not easy to play with visually but I'm sure some future updates will increase fps just like they did in csgo.
@LostFeatherFL@Nachiten_@vaccoin i’m just saying ur hours don’t mean nothin, and I haven’t ran into any noticeable cheaters nor have my friends, you are saying it like it’s every game.
@LostFeatherFL@Nachiten_@vaccoin u might just be bad, if u think you’re running into a cheater even every like 3-5 games, I haven’t felt like anyone was just straight up cheating but maybe once out of 20 games
@____teff@ThourCS@CounterStrike I haven’t played todays patch, but yeah I haven’t had that issue, Intel I7-10700k, 16GB Ram, 1440x1080, Med Settings (shadows on very high), 160 avg fps? Maybe high avg 180~, and haven’t noticed high temps even after degen sessions this weekend 8+ hr sessions w game restarts
@deadlockes@perfectpiscesgf if ur a man and ur feelings get hurt by someone calling u ugly on socials, u worried about the wrong things, and I can’t say what should and shouldn’t hurt a persons feelings, but tell ya what a mf should never care what the next person got 2 say
@redacted_93 @ThourCS@CounterStrike Majority isn’t the right word, because it is incorrect. I haven’t had very many games at all that I’ve thought oh this dude is cheating. Unless you got statistics to back that up yeah you’re talking out your ass.
@____teff@ThourCS@CounterStrike GPU usage when playing any game is usually gonna max out, that is normal. Unsure of why you’re having crashes, I also play on a 3060TI sometimes do have to restart the game if I start getting stutters after a few hours.

@schizoboobs@skripexd i think most folks just give an opinion without actually using their brain is all, i.e. more people, more bug reports + valve has been making cs for what 2 decades and has released a patch everyday since release.. maybe it’s the players w the ego sometimes
