@FSDJourneyUK December is the date I'm circling. If it passes, the UK gets a ready-made template instead of starting from scratch. Would the DfT just copy it, you think?
Slovak owners say TAD switches off at the border into countries without approval. That's the country-by-country patchwork in one clip. One EU-wide vote would fix it, for 🇩🇪 too 🇸🇰 @FSDJourneyUK https://t.co/L2lhJ6g7yP
Slovak Owners Say Tesla Assisted Driving Switches Off at the Border
Borders shouldn't decide when driver assistance works, and Britain's own route to FSD (Supervised) is moving.
Rent a Model 3 in Copenhagen, pay for TAD for three days, let it deal with the unfamiliar streets. @ElectricRaph calls it a game changer for tourists. A day pass would get my vote too, first weekend it's allowed in 🇩🇪 https://t.co/4idfzsVw0l
I rented a Tesla Model 3 with HW 4 to be able to go to different places in Copenhagen, but also a bit outside Copenhagen to visit museums and so on. I also paid for FSD, just for three days.🤣
Just to give you an example, if you are renting a car with this technology, it relieves a lot of stress from traffic and unfamiliar rules, and it was perfect. That is a game changer as a tourist if you go to another city and book a car with this technology.
I wish Tesla could offer a day pass for FSD in a near future for these occasion.
A TAD demo drive in Germany, and the screen still says FSD on v14.2.2.6. No new build, no sign of the rumoured German version yet. Thanks for checking, @TADVisionDrive. Demo rides for now, my own car later, I hope 🇩🇪 https://t.co/JjzDTVykWP
#Tesla#TAD#FSD
@TeslaNerdDE took it through wet cobbles in Aalst, parked cars inches from the mirrors, and admits a few spots got really tight. Good that he says so. Belgium has had TAD since June, I'm still on TAD Basic 🇧🇪 https://t.co/mKbUE4h0cx

A worker waves it past his paint crew on a one-lane mountain road, and it follows his hand. That's further along than I thought. Roadworks season near Leipzig would be the perfect test for this 🇸🇮 @JSkocaj https://t.co/j6Tme3bay7
Impressive reasoning and maneuvering by Tesla FSD (Supervised)/TAD as it interprets a worker’s hand signals and carefully navigates around a crew painting road markings on the narrow, steep mountain road leading up to the Nanos Plateau in Slovenia! 🇸🇮
@Tesla@TeslaSI@teslaeurope
10 of the 15 countries are in, but only about 14% of the EU population vs the 65% needed. Germany alone would lift that to roughly a third. Berlin already backs it, so it's down to the December vote 🇩🇪 @FSDWatcherDE https://t.co/p13iAycgW4
☕️ Guten Morgen
Max. 10 % Toleranz vereinbart ✅
Zulassung in Deutschland ❌
Dezember ja. Aber nicht welcher oder?

Tesla's CFO calls FSD the key driver for demand and hints at selling cars in Europe "with some benefits" before approval. A long free trial in Germany would do it for me. Thanks @Tesla, and @NotAnFSDTracker for the recap https://t.co/UHsrgZm7fW
🇪🇺 On last week's Q3 call, Tesla CFO Vaibhav Taneja said that, based on preliminary data, Tesla believes Model Y was the number one selling battery electric car in Europe.
He called FSD "the key driver for demand". Over 75% of Q3 deliveries in North America included a paid FSD subscription sign-up, and Tesla now has over 1.7 million paid customers globally.
He also said Tesla is taking extra steps to sell certain cars in Europe "with some benefits" before broader FSD approval is obtained.
Maybe more free trials and demo rides coming to Europe soon? 👀
Pedestrian steps off the kerb in Eindhoven and the car simply waits. Nothing flashy, and that's the point. Same kind of crossing I pass every morning on my way to work. Germany, whenever you're ready 🇳🇱 @TeslaNerdDE https://t.co/RDZ4VAhIvT
Dann schaut mal genau hin 👀
Eindhoven. Fußgänger quert. Tesla FSD Supervised wartet geduldig und lässt ihn passieren 🚶
Rücksichtsvoller als so mancher Mensch am Steuer 😏
Hard stop before she was even visible through the bushes. Probably the wide front camera seeing more than the dashcam clip, but that's exactly the margin I'd want on my rural roads in Saxony 🇩🇰 @FSDEurope https://t.co/9d3hP4987M
FSD braked hard for a cyclist coming in from the right. I honestly have no idea how FSD saw her through the bushes. By the time she was actually visible, the car had almost come to a full stop. Counting photons maybe? 🤔
That counter is Tesla's whole fleet, mostly North American km, not Europe. And the hold-up isn't the KBA, it's the EU committee vote, December at the earliest. Berlin backs it, so let's get it done 🇩🇪 @FSDWatcherDE https://t.co/ZDfVdOOJbM
Fast 27 Milliarden gefahrene Kilometer mit Tesla Assisted Driving
Davon fast 10,7 Milliarden Kilometer innerorts.
Und in Deutschland 🇩🇪 ist FSD bzw. TAD immer noch nicht zugelassen.
Das KBA muss noch immer prüfen….

Tesla Mag asked 28 governments the same five questions. Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland wrote back, Germany declined. Fair while it's Brussels' call, but a timeline from Berlin would've been nice 🇩🇪 @MagazineTesla https://t.co/LuLlfJX7Ki
We asked 28 European governments the same 5 questions about Tesla FSD, now called Tesla Assisted Driving in Europe.
One week later:
– 3 answered in writing: Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland
– 3 promised to answer, France by November 6
– 4 declined: Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Norway
– 14 have not replied yet
Still no date for an EU-wide vote.

Six cars let in and a honk from the guy behind. I'd have closed the gap after three. Still, too polite beats the merge fights near Leipzig, where I still can't use it 🇩🇰 @FSDEurope https://t.co/dsdNlSedDp
FSD made way for 6 cars to join our road. Is this too much kindness, or are we just not used to polite driving anymore? Pretty sure one of the guys behind me disagreed, since I got honked at 😅
@p_ferragu Strong numbers, but they're North American and Tesla's own. Regulators here will ask for European data, and the ten TAD countries could deliver exactly that.
New Tesla data: about 9x fewer major collisions with FSD (Supervised) engaged, roughly 6M miles between them. It's North American data though. I'd love to see the same from Europe's ten TAD countries 🇪🇺 @SawyerMerritt https://t.co/ARb1aTNnvE
Tesla has released new FSD (Supervised) safety data.
Miles per major collision:
• Teslas Driven With FSD (Supervised): 6,006,200
• Teslas Driven Manually (Active Safety Features): 2,031,221
• Teslas Driven Manually (No Active Safety Features): 845,915
• U.S. Average: 660,164
Total major collisions:
• Teslas with FSD (Supervised): 1,579
• Teslas driven manually with Active Safety: 17,775
• Teslas driven manually without Active Safety: 239
• U.S. average: 4,989,713
Total miles logged:
• Teslas with FSD (Supervised): 9,483,790,215
• Teslas driven manually with Active Safety: 36,104,958,020
• Teslas driven manually without Active Safety: 202,173,600
• U.S. drivers overall: 3,294,031,000,000
Tesla vehicles with FSD (Supervised) engaged experienced ~9x fewer major collisions than those driving without it on.
This is North America data across all road classes (highway and non-highway). The data reflects a rolling twelve-month aggregation of miles and collisions.
Ten countries now, and the smaller ones are leading. Germany is still waiting on Brussels. Thanks for keeping the pressure on, @elonmusk, I'd love to be on the list by spring 🇩🇪 https://t.co/4f1o8T2ykZ
Straight from Czechia into Slovakia, and the car doesn't flinch at the old border. Two small countries got there first. Hoping the EU vote puts Germany on that map too 🇨🇿🇸🇰 @robotinreallife https://t.co/n0VDY0anDC
Rain all day, then this on the way through Brkini. That's the drive where I'd want the car on the road and me just keeping an eye on it. One day near Leipzig too 🌅 @JSkocaj https://t.co/r0h4eSe5u7
Steep drops, one-car gaps and a dead end, all picked by viewers to break it. @robotinreallife calls it his scariest FSD drive yet. Watching all 32 min for every hesitation. Saxony's old towns would be the next test 🇸🇰 https://t.co/khmjKpYcEO
Latvia makes ten, so all three Baltic states are in now. CSDD points to the lower speed tolerance and stricter driver monitoring, pretty much what Berlin asked for too. Let's get the EU vote done 🇱🇻 @teslaeurope https://t.co/XNtYbyLQtJ
