Something I think new developers often aren't taught in school is that programming languages are tools. You *could* use a wrench to hammer in a nail. But why? Each has a purpose, benefits, and drawbacks for the situation.
@kurakusia @shrimpkolkhoz My husband and I rarely get super heated in an argument maybe 3 times ever. It's mostly pretty calm discussion always with respect and more debate style. We both come to a conclusion together and admit when we are wrong. Not sure why people who fight all the time get married.
I'm really excited to announce that I successfully pivoted from a role in full stack desktop apps focused on the backend with outdated tech... to a full stack web development role with a focus on the frontend! It can happen!! I did it! 😊
@AgDaleks that you are trying to make the switch from FE to BE & what you have done in your personal time to make that switch. People are empathetic to wanting to make a change. Explain why the desire to switch. I noticed FE tech interviews love to ask recursive questions about html trees.
