From what I know, appeal hearing is set for tomorrow eve, lots of submissions to be done in the meantime, so decision could come tomorrow or Thursday. Severity of sanction to be challenged but also the legal process followed, ie not getting full 14 days as standard.

Believe CEO Phil Parsons has communicated directly to all Saints staff this evening via an internal email, stating that legal team remain confident in strength of their position ahead of appeal tomorrow. For now, preparations for Saturday to go ahead as normal.

Southampton’s appeal will be heard by a new three person panel.
Since they admitted to spying, the appeal is therefore merely on the size of the punishment.
It has to be heard tomorrow.
Surely they can’t be reinstated?!

Saints admitted breaches concerning fixtures against Oxford in December and Ipswich Town in April. EFL statement says they will work to try to resolve any appeal on Wednesday this week. Saints have appealed against severity of sanction and will fight in strongest way.
