@WalshFreedom Exactly, Joe. And being frank, consistently with our right-leaning friends who are sick of Trump is critical. They need to be honest with theirselves that Democrats aren’t the same as the GOP. They haven’t surrendered their party to a traitorous sociopath.
@anneapplebaum The Security Council is a travesty, given modern economics and geopolitics. Better build on NATO and similar coalitions of democratic countries.
GOP presidential candidate Asa Hutchinson reacted to the news that Trump is expected to be indicted by special counsel Jack Smith:
“Donald Trump’s actions on January 6 should disqualify him from ever being President again…While Trump would like Americans to believe that he is the victim in this situation, the truth is that the real victims of J6 were our democracy, our rule of law, & those Capitol Police officers...”
@332118HM@Mylovanov Grain is a commodity. Even if Ukrainian grain didn’t go directly to Africa (which it does), the global supply and price is greatly and negatively impacted by the lack of shipments.
But you probably know this and prefer to shill for Putin.
Russia behavior with the grain deal once again shows it doesn’t negotiate in good faith and it doesn’t honor agreements.
Zelensky said that Ukraine should ship grain regardless, under the support of the UN. I hope the UN won’t chicken out and the Russian bluff will be called 7X
@dlbeard@luann_hat@WalshFreedom I find it pathetic how many commenters have to resort to false dichotomies, projection, and obfuscation to mask their shame.
