@BrandoAKing I think the 3 freshmen will all be great by the end of the year but we have seen how they can struggle early without some vets to take up the load in the beginning. 2012 and 2015 both had upper classmen to help in the early games. I think Lewis could be nasty once he adjusts
@ChrisFisher247 I think counting Dent as a miss is a stretch based on most reports. Was going to be nearly impossible to get him away from the west coast without breaking the bank. Kid may be great but I don't think you can build a contender with that formula.
@JakeLiv03024812@BrandoAKing Duke is also the only team in the final four whos leading scorer wasn't also on their team last year. You clearly don't get how building a program works once we moved away from the star freshmen plan. If you want to drop a bag on a player, who? And what 4 we putting with him?
@JakeLiv03024812@BrandoAKing Yes but none of them started the season with 0 staff or players. Gotta build a foundation for the program before expecting 1 player to take us to a final four.
@JakeLiv03024812@BrandoAKing Expectations are the difference. Besides Bama and auburn right now, which of those programs that are "dropping bags" would you trade places with? 1 elite player can get a team to the tournament and for some schools that's enough. We need a full team.
@JakeLiv03024812@BrandoAKing My point is we still have to replace 5 or 6 players from this season and we aren't in a position where we are just adding 1 or 2 guys and can drop big bags for them. I think this team still has a lot of needs to address. I would love to get elite names but need too many pieces.
@WildcatsProdigy@BanteredB_ We aren't "stuck with them" it's unfortunate but their not locked into spots on the team if Pope decides it's not best for the team.
