Canada, this is the call of your life! 🇨🇦
From July 24–31, Call Of My Life arrives in select cinemas across Canada. Gather your friends, bring someone you love, and answer the call.
See you soon.

A Nigerian friend hit me up and he told me they have a little running joke going on in his group chat.
"When you first land in Canada your first call should be to your Family to let them know you've landed safely and your second call should be to Jermaine for a job."
I laugh but I love being a resource for my people.
Black people, You've probably seen me talk about my mission to help 500 Black people get new jobs in tech.
And you've probably asked yourself, "how do I become a part of that?"
Here's exactly how:
Pls don’t defend evil.
Pls don’t make excuses for evil.
Pls don’t explain away evil you can see.
Today it may be someone else’s pain you are discounting because you want to please the government or somebody in power.
Religion, politics or tribe is never an acceptable reason to cuddle evil and excuse evil. When you see evil, please stand fully against it.
Tomorrow it may be you or your family member who needs that same empathy that you have denied others.
The evil you excuse today will one day eat you up and visit your family too. It’s always only a matter of time.
Comrades, please remind your friends and family what a better Nigeria means, WHO stands to benefit from it, WHEN they will benefit, and WHY!
Share this with your #OperationRescueNigeria WhatsApp groups and encourage your members to share it with 20 contacts. Share it until my mum gets a copy! 😎
I just had a heartfelt conversation with a very good friend of mine who has also recently moved to uk from Nigeria.
And I just realised how much pain that japa has cost us all as a people.
No regular fun with friends.
No regular family events.
No birthday with all your loved ones.
Simply work work work to pay bills.
There is such a thing as diaspora depression. Or there should be, because it definitely exists.
There is something that Nigeria gives you especially if you grew up in Nigeria before you travelled, that you can never find anywhere else in the entire world.
Don’t read this and think I’m saying you shouldn’t travel. Please you have to. Especially if life has become unbearable for you.
I’m only telling you it’s not all roses and champagne. It’s also thorns, pains and a hefty price to pay that is far beyond money.
If this pops up on your TL
May you be strong, healthy and prosperous
And may the good Lord grant you your good heart’s desires
Have a Good Sunday Morning Beautiful People! 🌞🤍
