The @braves I’m watching this season and the Braves being talked about on this platform are not the same. The Braves are having a stellar year, and I’m here for it!
Walt Weiss is doing better than I have him credit for. He was the right hire. And AA is the best GM in MLB!
This is the tweet of the week IMO. Referencing along with Wesley’s quoting of Church Teaching, in his sermon “Justification by Faith”, “The only instrument of salvation is faith…”in sermon on Ephesians 2 this morning at @PineForest_DUB
The Trinity is not a dogma that was invented by the early church, it is clearly implied (though not expounded in detail) in the Bible: the Baptism of Jesus, the Great Commission, Peter's speech in Acts 2, Paul's letters, etc.
God exists eternally as Triune.
I still hold to the belief that the hardest thing to do in sports is hit a home run off an MLB pitcher.
Heck, just getting a hit is so hard that the best of the best only do it a third of the time.
@Braves An old saying in baseball. “Every team will win 54 games and lose 54 games. It’s what you do with the other 54 that matters.”
The season is young. There are hot stretches and cold ones.
So, just cool off with the “it’s all over” talk. It’s just dumb.
Chop on #Braves!
We at the Podechesis Podcast love the church. Check out this episode where we start a conversation on why we do and why we believe the church still matters.

Second, I grew up, and still am, a stand-up comedy fan. Richard Lewis was always one of my favs. TBH, I was probably way too young to be watching his stand-up specials, but he was a comedic legend. And his role in Robin Hood: Men in Tights always makes me laugh.
RIP
Man...Two of my faves from years back passed today...
First, Virgil of WWE (WWF back in the day) and WCW fame passed. His work with the Million Dollar Man was legendary.
