@RichSaluki Completely agree. At the end of the day we have lost against every team we are directly competing against for a spot as of late. Once the season ends it will be brutal looking back at all the chances we had to solidify our spot but fumbled.

Ballard has built a franchise that is happy with simply not finishing last. They can (and have) been up 30 points and fans have to sweat that the team will still find a way to lose. Colts started 8-2 and most fans knew a collapse was imminent. That’s unacceptable after 10 seasons

You don’t see neighborhoods like this anymore because most young parents don’t own homes. Less than 5% of mortgage holders are under 30 in major metros, and the average homeowner is over 50.

That’s why most neighborhoods or suburbs feel empty, they’re owned by older people whose kids are grown, while younger families are renting apartments & priced out of the communities.

I remember when Columbus signed Johnny Gaudreau a few years ago. He was the one guy that chose that city instead of depart for so-called greener pastures. Johnny was the salvation of the franchise, the player that would bring them to relevance. His first few years weren't optimal in Columbus, but the hope was still there for Johnny.

It's devastating to me that he's never going to get that chance. He's never going to get to see his kids grow up. He's never going to be able to live.

Columbus is still reeling from the death of Matiss, and now they have to deal with this? My heart goes out to Blue Jackets fans.

Rest in Peace, Johnny. You left us way too soon.
