Long time listener, first time caller. Can someone please help me understand the argument against #AI ? The entire United States should be pro AI. This is the great #financial equalizer. The narrative of it using water, new data centers are closed loop which means it uses hardly any water. (There is almost the same amount of water on planet earth as 100 years ago, it just changes form) All new data centers must be power positive. That means they have to produce their own power plus but some back on the grid. Which theoretically should make it power cheaper for the consumer. It does make noise, but they do not need to be in a neighborhood. It creates jobs, sparks innovation, and many things. I'm just baffled the #media keeps winning here.
