@magikarpolycarp In true evangelical fashion, I ripped up my cards and took pliers to the games to destroy them all. I never got back into the cards despite going to Toy ‘R’ Us for a tournament once. But I do buy new Nintendo systems just to keep playing the games now.

@magikarpolycarp 12 was when I must have become a true Christian because my mom asked me to pray about Pokémon because she heard something about the creatures being named after demons or something. So I just assumed I had to give it up. Didn’t get back into it until 22. So glad I did though.
