Super easy to have check-ins that don’t expose inequities between students, increase anxiety, stress bandwidth & cause unnecessary lag time - instead of mandated cameras. & yes, I get the original post is about a light hearted fostering of connection 👍

I know of an instance with a screaming match in the other room. No filters for that. Also mute & less cameras reduces bandwidth issues. Saying that, teaching them how to change backgrounds could be fun, & increase camera usage. Pixelated option like Flipgrid has would help too
