@_NASH93 I was standing right next to the Leicester fans (in the digital only ticket bit). No one clapped Vardy our side of the blocked off seats, quite the opposite as there were chants of “Rooney”.
@au_tom_otive Road use pricing is inevitable. Fuel duty is about 8p per mile already, time of use charging and fuel duty to zero - once we have a government brave enough.
@henrywinter I referee and AR at grassroots. When I have youth games and parents on the line I tell them “flag up if you think offside, don’t wait”. I want 22 kids going home safe not offside perfection.
@LizKershawDJ@reformparty_uk You know Brexit caused the small boats crisis? By withdrawing from the Dublin agreement we’ve taken back control of our borders and the consequences.
@GarethJD @samcunningham@KieranMaguire Ipswich didn’t recruit poorly, they couldn’t recruit enough quality fast enough. Most of the squad had come from league one and a turnover of £9m in that year doesn’t exactly help the three year finance calculations.
@johnelworthy@Conservatives@lornadupre@reformparty_uk I think he’s been sitting out in the sun too long. Lorna has a good chance of winning but Reform have little support in the bigger towns or Cambs City. Might replace the Tories in some places but Hunts Tories are still capable and well backed.
@TheHelmetCoal@jmcginn7 If only we took top players and made only them managers, as all the best managers have played the game at the elite level. Then we’d have the best teams and players and mediocre managers like Alex Ferguson wouldn’t have littered the game.
@prickettboy3 Huntingdon to Ipswich for the Bournemouth game. 3 hour journey out, just over 2 back, £81.60 return or £124.10 for two adults and child with railcard reducing from £204. Or 75 minute drive each way for £20 petrol and £6.30 to park (ironically) at the station.
@borofergie@AngstFlood The negativity is an interesting thing but almost entirely an online phenomenon, I’ve also found it softens with engagement. Bizarrely, the more you do the more negative it becomes because “I’d do it different/better”. Perhaps just one hat to make time to do the new job well?
@edwinhayward £20k is too low to start paying tax, the higher rates would need to become very high very quickly - remember part time workers. Benefits should be paid via PAYE, will help cut fraud but also make it easier for people to work out if they are approaching UC or benefit caps.
@centralsimon @ThreeUK@O2@VodafoneUK@EE It really depends where you are. I use 3 for my main SIM but also have PAYG giffgaff (O2) and Spusu (EE) e-SIMs. This week I’m in north Norfolk and only O2 works. Peterborough or ECML EE all the way.
@borofergie I have huge respect for everyone who has done this, but particularly skint Angela Rayner. My oppo in CSNI was a Tory billionaire who celebrated the achievements of the last 14 years in his victory speech. How do we get more “real world” people in Westminster?
