@Jones1@teslaenergy Nah HOA isn’t the issue. Our electric company is a co-op. I can’t change. They offer a 1:1 buy back for my solar so no point on batteries
@Jones1@teslaenergy Thinking about getting the battery now that the co-op allows time or use rates. Wish Tesla would give an update on power wall power share to push me over the edge
@Teslarati If you’re parked in the shade, it won’t use much but in direct sunlight at the coolest setting could be a bit more. I often park in covered parking and have it set to 100 degrees and don’t notice much drain on CT.
@Chris_Mayer@RatsTesla Yeah I was prepared to buy a sunshade like we have in our model Y but I’ve never felt the need for it. Dunno how much it improved but I have no issues even in the Texas sun. Wish there was a better solution though for the Starlink.
@Chris_Mayer@RatsTesla Not sure how old your truck is but read that at some point they changed the coating on the class and now the roof suction cups don’t work. I believe Lars put out a reference to this at some point so check his tweets.
@MemeWarrior069@NevrEnoughX the roof glass has a metallic layer to reflect some of the solar load. Being metallic, this layer will interfere with starlink connection. The Windshield has higher visible light transmission requirements and does not have this coating. Swapping the roof glass will not change it
@AndrewCHodgdon I’m waiting for the cap kit to come in before I take em off. Ordered the cap kit a few weeks ago and it said estimated July delivery. Now updated to mid June but still long long wait for them.
@wholemars Maybe 14.3.2 has a hidden feature we never thought about. Clean brakes. Hard sudden stops “for birds” could just be cleaning your brakes. Eh? Eh??
