This is not a good look, people cannot even log in to chrome to access their wallets. No warning, just locked out for 24 hours so far, and despite the problems caused, customer service is poor. When you screw up you need to throw all your resources behind fixing it…24/7 because you are a global business. Lace has just damaged it’s reputation big time!

I was unaware of your situation or who you are, however I have read every comment on this thread. You have not clearly explained what you did wrong and where it went wrong. If I ever put myself in a position where I borrowed and owed people money, and then disappeared without communication for a long period of time.

Before doing anything else, I would make those people whole or at least have paid back half of what is owed to each of those victims, that proves your intent. At that moment you could ask the community for forgiveness. Don't tell people what you are going to do, do it first and then explain thereafter, then you will gain your reputation back, probably even improve it.

Charles has a brilliant mind and he has used it to elevate not just Cardano but Crypto as a whole. It seems as if many other chains have or are following his ideas. Yes, I do believe that 'the price' of ADA could potentially be higher if Charles kept some of his opinions and emotions bottled, or at least offline.

Charles is the first to admit he has made big mistakes over the years. But a man of his intelligence learns and adjusts, which he has been doing, and as of today, Charles is the best version of himself. I find his willingness to speak out about controversial or sensitive things/issues refreshing. But I also admit there are times where I wished Charles had stayed quiet, or picked his timing a little better. But we are all flawed in some ways, and the good he brings, the good he means, the values he demands and his brilliance is an asset to Crypto as a whole. I hope Charles can refresh himself, find peace of mind and continue to be the brilliant man he has become.

Your patience and valuable time to explain about this topic is appreciated, but probably wasted.

Some people are just wired to complain, are they driven by greed (if so their plan is failing) or are they really tone deaf, I am not sure. There is a selfishness about them, they have no idea how to grow a community, and absolutely should not be speaking on behalf of it.

Precisely! For someone like me, who lacks any real knowledge of cryptography, I sometimes feel quite hopeless. So I accepted my weakness and decided I am here to support by liking posts like this, sharing things I learn with others like me, and slowly accumulating ADA for the long term. Next I will start to use (nervously) some of my ADA to invest in real solutions. Innovative products that don't use gimmicky marketing jargon, those that feel genuine and are driven by quality people. Those in the space for the right reasons and run by people that do not give up easily!

I absolutely agree, I have never sold personally I don’t trade. So I did not come here for the casino coins. But many (I would say almost all non casino players) came here in some part, because there is a long term belief, and therefore to invest in selected Crypto to generate healthy financial returns over time.

When people see these ridiculous spikes in price that come from manipulation not a specific event like a poor quarterly result from Amazon or a major economic situation.

It is no longer about timeframes, and “we’re still early” its about trust and when trust starts to die, so does belief.

At one point in time some of what is now centralized in our world was in some way decentralized, but dishonesty and greed somewhat forced centralized rules.

I don’t have the answers but the fact so many of us are now numb to this process and manipulation is quite sad. I believe in Crypto thank you to Charles and I will simply hold no matter what, but it gets a bit embarrassing and disappointing bringing friends and loved ones into this space.
