@WeinoChi Yes it could have gotten him for 52 games. Maybe 11 regular season starts? He then needs to be signed for about $40-$50M per year for 8-10 years. That was never going to happen. That’s a lot to give to a division rival .
@shane_riordan I’m always curious why everyone cares about teams paying professional salaries? Why does it matter? How does it affect you? It’s sports .. players cost a lot of money.
@keepmoremoney Agreed, I have told everyone that would listen. Spain has the tactics and formula to beat France. They have world class talent, deep bench and the most important factor is they posses the ball. France can't score without possession.
@ChiSoxFanMike You are iffy on Venable who has his team in 1st place when they had less than 1% to make the playoffs b4 the season started? Come on man!! everyone is doubting us we have to stay in the fight. The BP is short on quality. He's doing his best with what he has!
@BearinVegas It’s called development. For years the CWS just brought up players without time to develop. It’s worked but for the most part failed. They appear to have a plan and it’s working. Trust in the process.
@things_sox He has to start winning. But the last “great” farm system you mentioned was top heavy and it played out that way. It also had no pitching depth. It appears we have more depth and pitching. It also appears there is more patience on development. But he needs to win
@TheChicagoPope Let’s look at this a different way. the biggest need is pitching. You never have enough. The best prospects they have are infielders . They will draft Roch. Between him, Wilson, Caleb, Sam, Chase , Colton, Vargas. 2-3 players will move to the OF.
