Today is a day of great pride for Ethiopians as we celebrate the official handover of “Tsehay” by the Italian Government. I extend my immense gratitude to Prime Minister @GiorgiaMeloni for her support over the past year in facilitating its return.

"Tsehay" is the first aircraft built in Ethiopia in 1935, under the collaborative efforts of the German engineer and pilot of the emperor, Herr Ludwig Weber, and Ethiopian individuals of that era.

RIP Omar Lema from Zone 3 #Afar Region 🇪🇹. Killed by terror group OLA while returning from Adama hospital in Oromia from visiting a sick father. He was killed along his brother on the route between Adama and Awash Afar. This is not the first incident but many. We advise against travel and warn about the security situation warsening on that road. 🇪🇹 military is no where r to protect an artery road of the country for OLA to do as it pleases.
