@Graham_Couch Poor outcome, but I liked the decision to go for it. My expectation isn’t to win hardware, it’s to establish an identity. 1st game, non-conference, they were keeping FAU fairly contained. Challenge the players, see what they’re made of. This game isn’t defining the Smith era.

@JamesYoder Can’t say who would’ve won if UofM & Nebraska played. Fwiw, UofM played Colorado & Baylor at home. Nebraska played both teams on the road. Might explain some of the variance in scores.

@HeftyBiscuits @DarkoStateNews I’d grade Saban’s tenure a success. His sudden departure stung & many will never forgive him for it. However, there’s little denying during his short time in EL he left the program in far better shape than how he found it.
