@FreddyLA7 Drive an hour north of Denver/Boulder to Estes Park and take a quick hike up around Bear Lake. Estes Park is an amazing place and good to recharge your soul! (Pro tip: go to Ed’s Cantina and get an avocado margarita!)
That’s actually my favorite scene from the entire movie. The build up, John Williams’ score and Sam Neill’s performance…all leading to the big reveal. What gets lost 30 something years later is that it was a big reveal to the audience too. The first appearance of those dinosaurs using that revolutionary CGI.
Was at that game and sitting in that end zone where The Drake landed for the TD. It’s always been surprising to me that this game is not the undisputed “best Bama game ever”. Was such an awesome game from start to finish, and I would argue that this TD (as awesome as it was) wasn’t even the best moment from the game.
@TheShawnHendrix@Tesla@elonmusk Highly recommend for the Parental Controls alone. The car itself is as safe as anything on the road, and the parental controls ratchet that safety up exponentially. Put my 16 yr old son in my old Model 3 and was one of the smartest decisions I’ve made.
That was the third game of the season against Arkansas that year and to this day, that’s probably the best series of games in a single season that I’ve seen for us. First game was at home and we won with about 7 seconds left on a drawn charge by Sprewell. Second game was a similar game at Arkansas that they ended up winning. And then this game in the SEC tournament.
Both teams were stacked with talent. That first game at Coleman was absolutely electric.
@SawyerMerritt The absence of the premium sound makes this a nonstarter for me. I could live with the other option changes but not the sound system being paired down.
It’s an amazing service. Just drove cross country in our van with Starlink recently installed. Consistent uninterrupted internet from Alabama to Arizona (including through barren stretches of NM and AZ).
And if that’s not impressive enough, download speeds were consistently between 150 Mbps and 300 Mbps…..while moving 75-80 MPH. Incredible.
Not really close to ‘92. There may be a lot of people hate watching this game saying we don’t have a chance, but anyone with any football sense knows we certainly can beat IU.
Miami was viewed as peak New England Patriots when we played them in ‘92. I don’t think a single person outside of our fan base thought we would or could win.
The wild part are the things that you wouldn’t expect it to do. Like being courteous. My Model Y has stopped in a line of traffic at a red light while in FSD, and if it sees a car on a side street at a stop sign in front of me trying to cross through the stopped traffic, it will stop early and leave enough room in front of me for the car to cross over the lanes in front of me (meaning it doesn’t pull all the way up to the car in front of me, thus blocking the crossing lane and preventing the side car from crossing). And it’s done this multiple times. Wild.
@wcherry5901 do it. Ryan and Jim are both correct. Is it old? Yep. It’s also a spiritual experience for a CFB fan but ESPECIALLY an Alabama fan (be sure to find the wall on the outside of the stadium with all of the past Rose Bowl scores). The mountains, the sunset, the history…all worth it. @jimdunaway@RyanBrownLive
On top of that, a cross country trip with your dad and sons is something you’ll never forget. I’m currently sitting in Sedona AZ with my wife and 6 kids, having driven all the way from Tuscaloosa. Split the drive up and do a hotel or two along the way. Seeing the country during a cross country drive with your family is worth the trip for that alone.
@NextRoundLive@RyanBrownLive@jimdunaway Thinking about driving to Rose Bowl with my Father(76) and Two Sons(18 and 11). Is the Rose bowl worth it I don’t have tickets yet but this is a debate for me one big trip with dad.
@PrideOfTheTide To be honest, I preferred having the games in Bham back then. BDS was not a loud or intimidating place to play in those days. Almost hard to believe that that stadium still stands today at the base of current day BDS.
