@creektothewest@Psychiatry_Anti meds are a bridge to a more stable solution. I'm not against them, but use them knowing that it's temporary while continuing to seek internal peace.
There’s a certain bittersweet freedom that comes with knowing I probably won’t qualify for 𝕏’s latest iteration of content revenue anytime soon.
When they first started the program, many of my online friends and I pounded the replies to check all the boxes and qualify. The goalposts changed a few times, including one change that happened right after my one and only 14 million impressions day in October 2024.
I should have known then that, for most of us anyway, it would be like the greyhounds chasing the mechanical rabbit. Even if you won the race that day, you never catch the rabbit.
For me it was never “pay the bills” money. It was lunch. It was a tank of gas. It covered the coffees on the way to church. And then almost a year ago, even prior to iteration three, it stopped.
“Below Minimum Earnings”.
Of course the twatwaffles among us responded to any such commentary on this subject as “whining”, with some going so far as to say “just post better content”, as if my content went from being worth $30, $50, or more to $23, $18, and $0 on its own merit.
As someone who spent over a year hosting educational spaces, and months posting daily original content that most simply never saw, I would gladly put my content up against that of most of said twatwaffles 24/7/365.
I do applaud those who I’m connected to that qualified, and if I didn’t think there were some very deserving individuals on this platform, I wouldn’t pay for the subscriptions I do.
Ok, so when am I getting to the “freedom” part?
Patience, grasshopper. We’re almost there.
The truth is, when 𝕏 throws you a few bucks every two weeks, like anything else that happens consistently, you count in it. You hustle. You watch your analytics. You look forward to that payout day to see if it’s lunch, or coffee, or gas- or maybe even a dent in the electric bill.
You know that if you go even 12 hours without posting, the algorithm will punish you, and it takes 3 days to ramp up again.
When you don’t qualify, none of that matters. The others are locked into the race, and you can just walk the route and make stops along the way, knowing that, at least for this season in your life, you’re not part of that race; there is no financial stake at risk for doing other things and neglecting your post frequency.
Will I change my tune if I get that next viral post and qualify? I hope not.
While I certainly won’t pass up the opportunity, the further removed you become from benefiting from 𝕏’s revenue, the more you relearn to make better use of your time, and just post when the mood hits or the topic warrants it.
IMO, there are 2 types of earners on this platform:
1. The perpetual clickbait posters that solicit your response on the most mundane topics.
2. Those who offer compelling commentary and hot takes, or educational/informative/or journalistic content.
Even if I never make it back to that place in the eyes of 𝕏, I’m still rooting for 2 group, and look forward to the day the mindless brain rot of group 1 fades from our feeds forever.
@ThrillaRilla369 she did at one point choose the hospital...Mid Dec and end of Dec. She knew enough to go there and had the agency to ask to be discharged for her Daughter's bday. Sounds like she was of sound mind and knew right from wrong.
@DrSuneelDhand in Dec she went to the ER & apparently told her husband she was concerned about thoughts of harming her children. ER discharged her as not a threat & her MD at the time had not been told by Clancy that she had those thoughts. She was not being honest about her harmful thoughts.
@TruthAnswersAll she told Pat on that fateful day, that she had a long day and asked about take out. She knew her kids would be hungry, she knew she'd have to go through the motions. She knew to map out the route. She knew everything. She is 100% guilty of premeditated murder of those 3 babies.
@TruthAnswersAll that shows that she knew right from wrong, judgement, and morality. 4 days prior, her internet searches showed that she was still researching drugs, symptoms, and "can you treat a sociopath". This shows judgement and understanding of her situation. Finally....
@Psychiatry_Anti very sorry you fell prey to their claws and brainwashing. I am in healthcare so maybe I have a different perspective, but there are many of us that don't trust them at all. No quick fixes to internal angst.
@Psychiatry_Anti you do realize that this is a made up branch of medicine right? Look inward, seek spiritual guidance, not someone's opinion on what is "wrong" with you. I wish more people understood this concept.
@celestialbe1ng ...got to the point of giving up and saw no hope based on her perfect world view. I see no room for doubt, not "reasonable" doubt at all. 100% in control and planned at least since her "can you treat a sociopath" web search.
@celestialbe1ng I am on day 10 of watching the trial on yt, and where exactly are you seeing reasonable doubt? I see a woman seeking care, not getting the answer she thought would work well in her busy family and social life....
