@footyindustryAU Scotland and Zimbabwe have both been countries who didn't qualify for 20 team tournaments. There are definitely enough teams good enough for 24.
@zo_demalia Check out the Australia v France from the last Women's World Cup for how good a shootout can be... Penalty shootout went for 11 players each
@RudiEdsall@maxlaughton It always amazes me that we get shocked when this happens... Why wouldn't a player take every advantage given to them in the rule book...
@MarkGottlieb Players have also worked out how to game the situation... Make it fast enough and look close enough to a handball that umpires don't have time to call it
@RudiEdsall@thomasjameoneil Add in the rule changes to speed up the game and the Blues were kinda stuffed. The list were built for bash and crash through stoppages and the game has moved further and further beyond that style of game.
@hasumpstuffedup I think he has gone off his line in that last step... And we have seen a lot less obvious than that called as play on. But what we think doesn't matter, play on is decided by the umpire, not the players
@aboutasteph Willing to give him more of a chance this year considering the list turnover... But the fear for me is that we keep losing the same way. How many time in Voss' tenure have we lost to teams after letting them get on a run like the Swans did the other night
