I’m not a fan of hookup culture, but it’s not for the reasons most people think.
It’s not because I think I’m “morally superior” to anyone.
And it’s not because “God wants you to save yourself for marriage.”
I’m against hookup culture because it robs women of their greatest advantage to finding a good husband.
Think about it with me. 👇
When a girl is a…
Hot
Young
Impressionable
Virgin
…the only men who are off the table for her are the married ones.
She literally has the ability to pick ANY man she wants because EVERY man wants her.
She could have…
The young man just starting his career (if she wants)
Or
The 35 year old tech millionaire (if she wants)
Or
The older, experienced, divorced, blue collar man (if she wants)
No man is off limits.
Hookup culture steals this from her.
If she spends “just 5 years” experimenting and sleeping around with random dudes, she becomes…
Uglier
Older
Less impressionable
And definitely not a virgin
…every advantage she had to finding the best man is GONE.
Now she’s just like every other girl.
Can she still find a good dude? Possibly.
But it’s gonna be a lot harder because now she can’t have her pick of men.
She’s stuck with the ones settling instead of choosing.
Or worse — the players who still won’t commit because they know they can get younger, hotter, and less jaded options.
This is the brutal truth most people don’t want to say out loud.
Hookup culture doesn’t “empower” women with freedom.
It quietly transfers their prime negotiating power to the men who least deserve it.
By the time she’s ready to lock one down, her options have shrunk dramatically while his haven’t.
That’s why women must protect this window in time.
It’s shorter than they think and they can’t get it back.
