@JeffSchultzATL I think it's a move to get a gauge of your prospects from an external source. (If TB wants X pitcher in a trade, it must mean that kid really has something.)
@JustinCToscano Harris was amazing. Austin Riley is the MVP on that play. Harris missed BOTH cuts!! Riley had the presence to see that, get there, backhand scoop a ball and then make a throw TO HIS RIGHT (!!!!) That NEVER gets practiced. Just unreal athleticism.
@CodifyBaseball@UmpScorecards If you removed the K Zone from the TV screen, I think most would call most of them strikes as well. I dare anyone to do that without the K Zone.
Watching this MIZZOU vs. AL Softball game...

These swings MIZZOU hitters were taking have @Teacherman1986 written all over them. Amazing change.
@TreadAthletics
Is there any data out there showing plots of hitter contact in terms of depth?
If you looked at a top-down view of the plate and where hitters make contact the most in relation to the position of the plate.

What if the #MLB moved the basepaths to 87.5 feet instead of 90?
Speed and defense start to become higher valued. Think of how many close plays there are at 90 feet. Those aren't as close at 87.5 feet. Stolen base becomes a factor now.
