"If people who are capable of work refuse, then they'll get nothing, that's fair"
Reform UK's Robert Jenrick outlines the party's plans for welfare and claims the existing benefits system is a "national crisis"

🚨BENEFIT BUSTERS Reform UK will cut the benefit bill by a massive £50Billion including PIP and will force people back to work.
Good! Benefits shouldn’t be a lifestyle choice.
🚨 NEW: Jeremy Clarkson says benefits claimants should be forced to write a genuine thank you email to a random worker every week
“It is SO kind of you to go to work every day so that I don’t have to. Thanks to you I was able to buy an even bigger television this week”
Under Labour, someone WORKING on £35k salary is £1,400 worse off
But someone NOT working with 3+ kids could get £81k a year of benefits
This is becoming a DISGRACE
Rewarded for not working & PUNISHED for working harder for less
The hourly rate you make when on benefits as a single person with a dash of anxiety is £11.12
The minimum hourly rate in the U.K. is £12.21. Many hospitality jobs, retail jobs and even care jobs pay this.
Now why would I bust my balls for £12.21 which is ONLY
£1.09 extra when I can be chilling on benefits on a similar amount of money with my anxiety of course?
Benefits should be uncomfortable- it should make people feel like I can’t wait to get off of them. Instead it’s not a bad lifestyle for many who may not be ambitious.
OH MY WORD MICKY VAN DE VEN 🤯
Incredible goal by the Spurs centre half, as he runs the full length of the pitch before a fantastic finish past Kotarsi - INCREDIBLE GOAL!

The UK has 11M people who are working age but don’t work. We have just over 32M actual workers. That means 25% of working age people aren’t working!
Every single day 1000 people sign onto benefits claiming to be too sick to work. After WW2 a total of 2% of the population were deemed too sick to work - people who had PTSD from the front lines worked and people who had lost limbs worked.
How is a country meant to function when it has 65M people but only 32M workers and 11M working age people collecting benefits from the state? How long can that last?
🏆 More trophies than Zinedine Zidane

Gareth Bale at Real Madrid deserves more respect 🤜🤛
Outrageous that someone on benefits can receive £25,000 a year - more than what two million people earn on the minimum wage after tax (@thetimes). This isn't just economically unsustainable, it's morally wrong. We should be rewarding work, not dependency
Rory Jennings says Harry Kane “let England down” but puts Wayne Rooney as #1… 🤔
Kane: record goalscorer, WC Golden Boot, England’s most successful captain since 1966…
Rooney: scored 3 goals across 6 awful tournaments for England during 2006-16…
🥴👍
