Readiness Idea for Golf
If you have a swing speed radar, get a few measures before the round.
If it is average or better, green light
If it is below average, you may not be firing on all cylinders and need to make adjustments
This is commonly done in performance training. Vertical Jump, grip strength, and other measures are used to determine readiness for the session.
When fatigue is higher and the measures are low, we back off on volume/loading
Lifting Hack
Not recommending this, but if you're gonna eat a whole pizza one night anyway
You might as well get a good lift in the next day to take advantage of the extra calories
It's amazing that on Twitter every golfer can hit a 7 iron 190+ and drive it 300 while also being told that anyone who swings remotely hard is going to get injured and die
