A local founder told me this today. He spent the last year building a company offering agentic workflows to businesses.

The tech changed on him. An hour of prompting could now produce results similar to what his product offered.

Truly felt bad for him but we can learn something here:

If you're in the AI space, your tech stack needs to constantly evolve. Latest models, latest workflows, latest tools. Part of a founders job will now be constantly staying on top of new tools and figuring out how to turn them into value for customers.

Resilience is now 1000% a requirement. This was always important, but you're going to have to take bets on things rapidly and expect to fail. There is no other way to survive in this space.

Founders and companies must invest in constant evolution to be relevant. Enterprises should start entire departments dedicated to this.

You need to dedicate time weekly to taking advantage of the latest tools on behalf of your customers.

I’m a huge fan of it.

Recently every beer I open explodes immediately due to over carbonation. I sometimes lose half a beer due to the explosions that happen. Not to mention the mess and money I spent.

The day before the meeting, get everyone together to decide what you are going to talk about.

If it’s just you that’s fine.

Send a pre-read the night before.
Ask for feedback.

Once you’re in the meeting you can say you sent a prepared note.
