🚨🇺🇸 JP MORGAN CEO JAMIE DIMON CALLS DEMOCRATS "IDIOTS"
"I have a LOT of friends who are Democrats and they are IDIOTS. I always say they have BIG HEARTS and LITTLE BRAINS. They do not understand how the real-world works."
Do you agree with him?
As a SpaceX $SPCX shareholder since 2020, I can say this with full responsibility: Elon’s words are true. SpaceX has always been brutally efficient and disciplined with CapEx.
If they can build it themselves and save money, they never pay for convenience.
2 examples from the early days:
A vendor quoted $120,000 and 18 months for a Falcon 1 second-stage actuator. Elon laughed: “That part is no more complicated than a garage door opener. Your budget is $5,000.” An engineer built it for $3,900.
Another vendor quoted hundreds of thousands and a year and a half for an engine valve, then smirked and walked out. SpaceX’s team built and qualified it by summer. When the vendor called back begging to talk, the answer was: “We’re done.”
This isn’t ideology. It’s math. Raw materials are ~2% of a rocket’s cost. The other 98% is process, overhead, and stacked supplier margins. Control the process, and you capture the savings.
That’s the same discipline behind the $470B capex debate. The models assume aerospace-industry waste. SpaceX doesn’t operate that way.
Tesla and SpaceX have created meaningful wealth for hundreds of thousands of employees over time and improved the retirement savings of hundreds of millions of people
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy.
It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.
Our second product is called Blindsight and it will, as the name suggests, enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see.
It is ready from an engineering standpoint. Just waiting on regulatory approval.
Throughout my 20 something years in investing, SpaceX $SPCX is the largest arbitrage I’ve ever encountered. It’s not a misunderstanding in the usual sense — it’s a cognitive error at market scale, and that error is the edge for anyone willing to look.
Management has published guidance and data in the open; the spoon is right there in front of everyone. Yet large parts of the market still can’t see it, or simply refuse to, because the numbers are genuinely that extreme. I don’t know whether this window stays open for one year, two, or ten. But I suspect that whenever it closes, looking back will be one of the more interesting exercises in modern market history.
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets …
It is obvious that @elonmusk is Chief Problem Solver of America.
Give him whatever resources he needs and get out of his way.
I explained on @AmericaNewsroom this morning.
A BIG THANK YOU to our legendary friend, @ElonMusk, for his incredible generosity in giving SpaceX Stock to millions of American children through TRUMP ACCOUNTS! This is exactly what was envisioned when we created TRUMP ACCOUNTS — Bringing together the GREAT PRIVATE SECTOR, Elon and so many more, to invest in our children, by far our greatest and most important asset, and give every American Child a piece of the American Dream. Thank you Elon! President DONALD J. TRUMP
I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
