@KristabelDH I started following you when you were on EF and quickly saw how delightful you are. I am sure you will continue to be successful in whatever you do. Best wishes in 2025 and beyond.
@sfchronicle One point not mentioned is that during PG&E outages you have to have a battery if you want your panels to provide power to your house. This is especially important if you have a heat pump for heating & cooling.
@SFGate Curious how you are able to drive from SF to Mammoth without encountering the similar traffic conditions as going to Tahoe. You still have to get out of the greater Bay Area which has horrible traffic especially Friday. And you have to travel either 50 or 88.
@jachristian That was crazy. I was mt biking on the redwoods down on the peninsula. You can imagine it was really dark in the forest even at mid-day. Your pics really captured what that day was like.
@giveblood Have you considered rolling back the 4 week deferral for those of us who do single platelet donations? This newer policy has cut my annual donations in half.
@peterhartlaub@Adamcopes@byronjr23 I recall seeing Road Warrior at the Union City drive-in. And it wasn't top of the bill. Instead it was Firefox, a crappy Clint Eastwood movie. We didn't know anything about Road Warrior and of course we were blown away by it. Something about music being much better back in 1982.
I like how someone has repurposed an old @sfchronicle vending machine. What do you think @peterhartlaub? The eggs are so fresh that a chicken ran in front of us while we biked by.
@JanelleBitker does it really matter if a 20% fee is added vs increasing prices by 20%? Us diners are still going to pay the same total. I would rather not have hidden fees added at the end.
@john_dough@GoldenRamblings@JanelleBitker@ekadvany Isn't the expectation that us diners will end up paying the same total price for our restaurant meals? The change is that we won't get a surprise fee when presented the bill.
