Good morning everyone -
I'm happy to formally announce I am the @CanadianGreens candidate for the riding of Burlington in the next federal election!
My goal is to run a bold & unashamed progressive campaign for #BurlON residents demanding change and vision in 2025. #cdnpoli
Two days before nominations close, and there are now 14 registered candidates (and one who's declared, but not registered). Handy list at https://t.co/TZ1B9Gs8NK
(many updates coming frequently, give me time...)

Manitoba – thank you so much for this honour.
Our team will give everything we have for the next four years to serve you, the people of this province.
Tomorrow, the work begins to make life better. I know we can do it. Because together, we’re capable of great things.
Thanks to Kitchener Centre Greens for choosing me to represent the party in the coming provincial By-election. The time is now and Greens are ready to represent at Queens Park. It takes a village to win an election. Come join us.
@AshleyFoxRPN They're not on Twitter yet, but Ashley Reyns , ACORN Ontario/Waterloo Region organizer, said today they'll probably be at @waterlooregionacorn In the meantime, there's https://t.co/qHMkPppQOZ
Anyone know how to connect to #ACORN in Kitchener-Waterloo?
Toronto landlord wants a 12 year old evicted for not being on the parent's lease.
1. That doesn't make sense.
2.That's illegal.
ACORN is getting started in Waterloo Region. Join a growing group of ACORN members locally to stand up for tenant rights! The first meeting is May 25th at 6:30pm, online. https://t.co/NXlKEUDpMV
I am SO happy to announce that I have been approved as an applicant to seek the ONDP's Kitchener Centre Nomination!
I'm excited to finally get started!!
This Wednesday! Let's fill the chamber! Help educate your friends and family on what is and isn't in the budget. Let council know we are watching!

Honoured to have been chosen as Chair for the @CityKitchener Environmental and Climate Change committee! I'm optimistic about what we'll be able to accomplish and advocate for :)
@frogwhimzy@Markster3000 It's not even so much about ditching the car. #ZeroFareTransit opens up a world of possibilities for people with such low incomes that they have no cars, and can't even afford transit. #FareFreeTransit means they can travel to work, go to the market for lower-price groceries, &c.
@Markster3000 Sure would encourage fewer cars. As long as you can drive a family (and pay for parking) for less $$ than bussing a family of 4, where is the incentive to ditch the car?
@Markster3000 I would include high school students as part of a plan to eliminate all student bussing inside city limits within a reasonable timeline as part of a broader "20-minute city" strategy.
