@RWApodcast Individual movies go in and out of fashion, but how we feel about them at a specific time will remain a valuable lens with which to understand who we collectively our. Social media only tells you who you are.

@RWApodcast The way in which we collectively feel about a given thing is really what defines us as a civilization. Hitler - close to universally bad. Alexander the Great - terrible to some, no longer so bad to others. genghis khan - impressive to many.

@RWApodcast The rare bad take from RWA. Movies are a medium to share human experiences, just as books and storytelling are, as is social media is a self-curated way of doing so. We will always need shared cultural touchstones to find consensus on as humans.

@RWApodcast Russia has the capacity to sacrifice more than Ukraine irrespective of either country’s desire to do so. The USA (and collective west) have the capacity to sacrifice more than Russia, but frankly are unprepared to, and increasingly unwilling to.

@elonmusk In all sincerity I got pushed from a public sector role where I was the sole person in office carrying my departments weight (after getting severe COVID from meeting with everyone). Been better for years, NO ONE will touch me for a serious role.
