The New York Knicks are the first team to win all four games of a NBA Finals in the play-by-play era (since 1997) in which they overcame a double digit deficit in each win
Knicks trailed by 14 in Game 1, 12 in Game 2, 29 in Game 4, 16 in Game 5
I will also say, that CB room was/is+ ROUGH. Nohl Williams, Kristian Fulton, and Kaiir Elam. That was the room. At least the bad edge rushers and wide receivers were all in the building last year. Mansoor instantly becomes the best player in the entire secondary.
Here is a stat for anyone that claims Canada was surely the best team at the Olympics and just had a bad break:
In 3 knockout-round games as a prohibitive favorite, they held a lead for 6 minutes combined out of 183 possible. That is 3.3%. Might need to actually score goals to be as good as those claims are.
That said, always fun to measure up against our big brother. 🇺🇸🥇
The Chiefs picking 9th instead of 11th (and then the other picks in other rounds) gives them roughly the value of an additional pick in the late 90s in draft capital.
If you ever wanted an indictment of the Chiefs' offensive coaching staff, this is it.
Just a masterclass in horrific football, playcalling and details on a play-by-play basis.
I get they're playin a ton of backups, but this is sub-NFL level football.
"I'm not happy at all."
@FootballDesoto head coach Claude Mathis is not satisfied with a 48-point first half and commanding halftime lead in the 6A-DII championship game.
Instant classic halftime interview.

@Ernie_Webb_3 “Remember kids if you don’t make the playoffs it’s probably because you didn’t deserve it…” Pedigree from nearly 40 years ago doesn’t count any longer.
@InHarmsWay19@MitchSchwartz71@eljefetheflyest Isn’t that then a major coaching season game plan flaw? Putting your entire offensive game plan and success hinges on single player and hoping they stay healthy? I guess if Worthy was that detrimental to the offensive game plan’s success that was a very bad decision.

This is coaching.
#Chiefs head coach Marty Schottenheimer consoles young linebacker Derrick Thomas, then motivates him for overtime.
One of my favorite clips.
