@excesstential@OrganizerMemes Judging by their content during that time, they were probably paid to be dismissive of criticism of Biden and Harris (from the right *and* left)
@Viceroy_12 Unfortunately you need the american voters support if you want a Democrat to win. And even though Trump's popularity is, hopefully, permanently low, the Dems have not capitalized on that yet because their popularity is also at a seemingly permanent low
@Viceroy_12 Okay, we can use your perspective. The point still stands that he offered them fascism and the Dems offered vanilla means-tested liberalism as a counter. And it failed.
@Viceroy_12 Lol his whole campaign was about deporting people to get housing prices down and tariffs to get high paying jobs. Theyre bad, evil ideas but when the dems dont offer anything to counter, people vote for his bullshit out of desperation. Its not just an american trend
@Viceroy_12 No it doesnt.
The dems lost because they refuse to offer a real solution to growing wealth inequality. Theyre too out of touch to admit it, though.
@ClanCuts@NathanJRobinson@casemation The implication wasn't that he got rich from the $8000 monthly payments, though. Its that he was a rich kid who started a YouTube channel and still took money in exchange for using party-approved talking points. It's a demonstration of how corruption works even on a small scale
@Viceroy_12 Nobody is saying trump is a super politician, or even a good one. He's a narcissist buffoon. Criticizing dems for losing to trump twice after darting to the right both times is not praise for trump.
@OrganizerMemes Do you really think these people were getting paid becsuse the party is very concerned about labor rights? They do it to control the propaganda. Your propaganda stops being effective when the enemy has to approve it before posting
