DID YOU KNOW… that @RedBullUK says its energy drink “gives you wings”. If only that was true the millions of Red Bull cans that lie littered all over Britain might pick themselves up and collectively migrate to a landfill site. A flight of fantasy and a load of ‘Bull’!
Farmers of the year, apparently.
Brazenly, proudly posing with birds in a state that would (rightly) have the RSPCA knocking on your door if they were kept in your garden.
How are you still not seeing it yet? If they're happy to show you this, imagine what they're not showing?
Well done to our volunteers from @_unique_group !
They collectively removed 140KG of litter from Aberdeen Beach and Estuary 👏
Volunteers were split into two groups “Team A” and “Team B” and there may have been a little bit of competition between them 😅
5 #Earthcleanup bags today, 173 more bottles of plasticpollution + a rug, pillow & chair.
The amount of Litter/Trash stuck in our waterways is drastically worse than the general public knows.
Since mid-May: 233 bags pulled from Pittsburgh's Ohio River & 6,359 plastic bottles
🌎
Little pootle round Furzeham and picked a full bin bag of litter. Glass bottles in hedges, cans, medication blister packs, McDonald’s rubbish.
Oh and 2 dog poo bags and 80 cigarette butts. 😞 #LoveBrixham#Brixham#Torbay#Litterpick
THIRD WORLD BRITAIN 🥲
What a bloody mess this country is. 🤬Watch and weep. We should be truly ashamed of how filthy and hyper littered our country had become. @NationalHways @RicHolden @_jonbrady
I just signed @RiverActionUK's petition calling on political leaders to rescue our rivers and freshwaters to health for nature and people by 2030. Will you join me and add your name? #RescueBritainsRivers https://t.co/aZrw4frcBE via @38degrees
The River Wye can’t take much more of this 💩💩
On a day when our rivers face grave threats from govt plans to ditch river pollution rules, we investigate how the government's abandonment of critical environmental regulations is killing one of the nation's favourite rivers. 🧵
The weekend so far, an improvement on last week!
Taking a short break from socials, I'll be back with updates soon as we change in to Autumn/Winter mode 😊
Thank you to all our volunteers who were out litter picking this morning on this windy and cold Saturday Morning ❄️💨 all across our community and making such a positive difference.
I mean, this might seem like a radical idea, but a #depositreturnscheme could help with keeping this mess off of our streets and out of our greenspaces. 😬🙄
All from two sections of road and most of it littered in the last week.

We live on a beautiful and wondrous planet but our only home is in trouble. As a species we need to understand and admit that human beings are the problem… but we are also the solution. We can choose to stand by and do nothing or we can choose to do whatever we can to solve…
I am pointing my finger at @NationalHways@HighwaysSEAST for neglect of the M4 roundabout, Cranford and the jnc 3 slip road. Completely full of rubbish lobbed by inconsiderate motorists. But the local community care enough to clean up - todays haul 60 bags.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to beach clean nonstop for 24 hours? Read our blog post about our epic 24hr beach on Skye to find out!

Come back from a nice few days away to see my road verge covered in plastic, cardboard and polystirine. Someone thought it was ok to dump their BBQ packaging over the barrier. Now all bagged up and put in the proper bins. @KSBScotland @PerthandKinross@Perth_Greens#biglitter
